Welcome Garretts near and far!

My name's Patrick and I have had this domain for a number of years. During that time I have received many emails and have learned that you can find Garretts proudly bearing the family name from all corners of the globe. I'm not a great hand at genealogy and do not have our history traced back to the first club wielding paleo-Garretts, so I'm leaving that up to you. The Garrett tab on this site contains a forum where all things Garrett are discussed.

I am a member of the not-so-famous Western Washington Garretts. We tend to love water, mountains and little green men (as found on the campus of Western Washington University, pictured on the right). You can find our clan in Bellingham, Port Angeles and the metropolis of Ashford. We also have a missionary fervently furthering the cause of Garrett in Salt Lake City, Utah; we are no strangers to sacrifice.

Bearing the name Patrick has lead to all of the obvious questions involving Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. So as not to appear mute and slow I have done some research and found that Pat Garrett did indeed shoot the legend, and probably in the back to boot. I can only hope that my mother's real motivation for the choice of name involves my St. Patrick's Day birthday.

Garretts seem to be a creative and motivated crew with lots to share. While my children's refridgerator art might receive higher billing, I would love to display or link to any wholesome Garrett content, including Photos, your Business or what you do for Fun.
